The Portable Display To Impress

JVC’s Xiview is the ‘hand-carry’ Display to impress and secure commitment at any meeting.

Are you looking for that WOW! factor to greatly enhance your important laptop presentations or tell others how your products or services will benefit them? Well how about plugging into a 32” LCD
monitor and eliminate the need for your clients struggling around a 12” computer screen to see your amazing presentation that has painstakingly taken many hours or days to prepare?

Yes, your design concept, special choice of font and background, the detailed graphics and photographs, all can be seen in their full glory on a large screen. Once, this was only possible to do when arranging in advance for a monitor or projector to be available at your meeting. Within some environments this is indeed possible, but travelling to many meetings presents logistical and technical problems.

With the introduction of JVC’s Xiview brand monitor, the LT-32WX50, there is now a transportable product solution. Ideal for many applications, including the incorporation within your on- or off-site meetings, this is a technology that greatly contributes to showing off your impressive messages and visuals.

Talking of understanding corporate messages, ever wondered where and how companies create their sub-brand names? The mystery behind JVC’s Xiview brand will be revealed later.

Lightweight
Weighing less than 6kg and small enough to fit into an A1 art folder, not surprisingly this is one such product that can be used for a multitude of dynamic visual presentations.

The JVC Xiview 32” LCD monitor boasts a thin (6.4mm − front surface of LCD panel to the rear surface of the cabinet) and lightweight (5.7kg) design. The flexibility of use is immense throughout business and domestic environments. Some technical information reveals that, in addition to the full HD panel with an efficient LED edgelighting system, the LT-32WX50 features JVC’s original picture engine, the New DynaPix HD, a 4000:1 native contrast ratio, and wide colour gamut providing 90 per cent Adobe RGB coverage to ensure image reproduction with exceptionally high resolution.

Smart and stylish, when in situ, the LT-32WX50 blends in perfectly with the most fashionable of interiors and offers outstanding display performance. When placed into a meeting environment, not surprisingly there is WOW! factor before your presentation begins.

Full high definition
As previously mentioned, the Xiview has full HD so is ideal for reproduction of high definition content from various  HD sources like Blu-ray or recorded images from the JVC Picsio.

Xiview has a number of imagequality settings available: standard (for living rooms), dynamic (for brightly lit conditions), theatre (for viewing movie content), monitor (use as a PC monitor), photo pro (for viewing D-SLR photographs), game (for playing TV games),  CCTV HD (for surveillance with HD images) and CCTV SD (for surveillance with settings via composite terminal HD images).

To fully utilise the exclusive tech nology that allows the Xiview LT-32WX50 to realise its thin and lightweight design, Steven Carter, Product Specialist Manager from JVC, confirmed that the company will be collaborating with diverse industry personnel worldwide, including furniture craftsmen, interior-architectural designers, and professional installers to come up with new, innovative ideas to change the way  monitors are statically displayed in a given space, and create more appealing, customised applications.

JVC have also indicated that some of these ideas may involve designing original furniture, wall and ceiling systems that integrate the monitor, as well as exploring new ways to attach the monitor to fixtures such as picture frames, railings or interior suspension units. In the business world, the possibilities are limitless, and the same can be said for
residential applications.

Impact on environment
Is the product green? Well, there are many elements to help minimise impact on the environment. The Xiview LT-32WX50 monitor uses approximately 50 per cent fewer material resources and does not contain mercury. It uses a more efficient, LED backlighting system to illuminate the edges of this super thin and lightweight LCD monitor and so provides lower power consumption. Now what about this JVC Xiview subbrand name and its relevance? Do you really want to know?

According to JVC, this is its breakdown. X stands for new or yet undiscovered (eg generation X) followed by ‘i’ for images that can be viewed. The important first letter ‘X’ in the Xiview brand name symbolises JVC’s desire to move beyond existing conceptions of conventional televisions and towards the creation of a display device capable of delivering high definition still images and video reproduction as never experienced before.
