Message from the Publisher

Welcome to the Autumn/Winter Edition (volume 3) of Executive Venturer.

Following the very successful article on The Marriott Group the Chief Executive of Warwick Hotels has given an EXCLUSIVE interview in this issue-celebrating their 25th Annniversary this year (2005).

We also have two very different stories – the first on the Story of The Amsterdam RAI conference centre and the second on Historic Royal Palaces in London by Major General Geoffrey Field, Resident Governor of the Tower of London.

Sol Melia Hotels is celebrating 50 years in the industry – an interview will be included in the Spring/Summer 2006 edition. Our regular features on New Developments and Executive Gadgets will continue as usual. (By the way the competition in the Spring/summer edition was so successful that it will now be a regular inclusion – see below.)

We hope you continue to enjoy the magazine.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
